Glam Is a Way of Life

“A woman should be two things, classy and fabulous.”— Coco Channel

There are no set rules to living a glamorous life. Coco Channel was tanning and wearing pants (and her boyfriend’s suits!) when it was considered shocking and unfeminine to do so. No one would argue that Coco Channel is the epitome of glamour. Living glamorously is about how you feel about yourself in relation to the world. Let yourself shine through!

You know you feel confident, fun, sexy, witty, and exciting. Express yourself! Allow your inner fabulous to come out, whatever that means to you. Glam is all about branding yourself. Being fabulous means wearing fresh lipstick and mascara to walk to the mail box. You know you are fabulous. The rest of the world needs to know that too.

Being glamorous means no fear. You are classy and fabulous, so you are not afraid to wear false eyelashes, a cat eye, and a bold lip. You are confident enough about who you are and how fabulous you are that you have no qualms about wearing a body con dress with mile high stiletto heels if that is how you are feeling. Confidence announces itself the moment it walks in a room. Everyone will notice you. Everyone will want to know you.

Of course glam is always, always classy. You don't have to spend a mint to be glamorous. A structured handbag always looks expensive. The ubiquitous little black dress always screams, "taste". Wearing a scarf on your neck can turn the most boring t-shirt into a statement piece. Accessories are the wardrobe staples that you don't need to spend a lot of money on to look as if you did.

The glamorous woman pays a great deal of attention to her cosmetics. Make-up is always precisely applied with attention to harmonious colors. A bold, red lip is an instant attention grabber. False eyelashes, either with or without added mascara, draw attention to your eyes. With false lashes you look as if you were born looking like a queen!

Everyone woman has her own interpretation of glam. Remember, there is no fear in glamour. Allow yourself to try a few new looks each season (or each week). You may find that you have been missing a bold, red lip that gets you more respect at work. The structured hand bag with a scarf and black sunglasses may be all it takes to grab attention as you stroll with your dog. You know you are fabulous! Let the world know too!
