4 Easy Steps to Create a Barely There Natural Makeup Look

The ultimate goal of your daytime makeup is to trick people into thinking you woke up looking that way. The natural style of makeup lets you feel free of the normal cosmetic worries while still looking flawless. Here you can learn how to create a barely-there natural makeup look in only a few steps.

  1. Focus on your skin first. Without heavy eye makeup or a bold lip, your skin will be what's on display. For a natural look, use a BB cream or other tinted lotion to get all of the coverage without the thick look of traditional foundation. The SPF doesn't hurt either! Then follow up with a concealer, but be liberal with it. Focus on any dark blemishes and under-eye circles. Add a powder on top if you are prone to shine, but don't go crazy. Make sure to still let your natural radiance shine through!
  2. If there is ever a time to invest in a subtle blush, this is it. A little pop of color highlights your cheekbones and wake up any face in the morning. Warm colors look the most natural, so stick to the peach and pink range.
  3. Next focus on your eyes, but do not go overboard. An eye shadow only a few shades darker than your skin color can highlight your eyes while looking as bare as a baby. If you feel a little too naked, use a brown eye pencil. It is a natural color and will highlight your eyes without looking too bold. This adds definition without the thickness of normal application. A coat of your favorite mascara and our Lotus Lashes Light Volume No. 203 lashes will liven up your look.
  4. The final step is your lips. No regular lipstick comes across as natural, so instead opt for a tinted lip balm. These adds color, and the moisturizing component leaves them looking freshly kissed.

Take this look to work on a Monday morning or out shopping with your friends. It will highlight your already beautiful self no matter when you wear it.
