Start Fresh: Skin Care Tips for 2020
Posted on January 25 2020
A timeless trend that will never go out of style? Clear and glowing skin. Let me tell you, nothing feels better than soft, smooth skin that is ready for a flawless face of make-up or to take on the world totally natural and luminous. Keeping up with clear skin is a common struggle to everyone, so don't fret. Here are a few tips on how to keep your skin happy and healthy this upcoming year!
USE A SPIN BRUSH
I cannot stress this one enough! Using a spin brush to wash your face will be the game changer in your skin care routine. A spin brush is the most effective and natural way to exfoliate your face. Say goodbye to dead skin and dry flakes, and say hello to vibrant, smooth skin! For the queens out there with very dry skin, you probably want to use a spin brush 3-4 times a week, where as if you have more oily skin, you may only need to use a spin brush once or twice a week.
CHANGE YOUR PILLOW CASE
Do not sleep on this! Most people say they change their sheets every week, maybe every other week, but it is so important to change your pillow cases at least once a week for the sake of your skin. Your face is touching that same piece of fabric for hours each night, all while producing and secreting oils and dirt. Suffocating your skin with your old pillow is basically a self-curated formula for an acne disaster. Don't do it to yourself!
MOISTURIZE DAY AND NIGHT
A common skin care misconception is that people with oily skin should not use moisturizers, creams, oils, etc. because they already produce enough oil. Lies! Everyone should be moisturizing their skin everyday. The natural oils produced by your skin are not the same as the oils used to moisturize your skin. Moisturizing is by far the most simple tip for keeping your skin plump and young! Rose hip seed oil is a clean, cheap, and extremely effective product for keeping moisturized skin. Find a cream or an oil that works for you and your skin type and commit!
