3 tips for doing your own bridal makeup lotus lashes

The decision to do your own makeup on your wedding day is a great one. You are the one who knows what you want to look like and you also likely do your own makeup each day. However, since this is a very special day, there are a few things that you want to keep in mind. Here are three tips for doing your own bridal makeup.

Don't Stray Too Far From Your Natural Look

One thing that you should always keep in mind is that you want to look like yourself on your wedding day. Of course, you want to look your best, but this can be done by keeping your makeup fairly close to your natural, everyday makeup, with a few additions. Use colors that compliment your skin tones and don't go over-the-top when it comes to your blush, bronzer, and lipstick. Use eyeliner to enhance your eyes and let your bronzer lightly define your cheekbones and narrow out your nose. This will allow the makeup that you use to enhance your natural beauty and compliment your dress and hair, rather than pulling attention away from it.

Practice, Practice, Practice

If you want your wedding makeup to look a certain way, then it is essential that you practice before your big day. Just like with anything else, practice makes perfect and will allow you to confidently apply your makeup on your wedding day. If you want to try some new makeup products or update your skin routine, doing so several weeks beforehand is very helpful and ensures that your look your best on your actually wedding day.

Incorporate False Eyelashes

To enhance any makeup look and make you feel extra gorgeous on your wedding day, you should incorporate false eyelashes. You can purchase gorgeous mink eyelashes that range in volume from light to heavy and have several different lengths and styles. This makes it possible for you to find the false eyelashes that you feel look best for the look you are going for and your eye type. You can then simply apply them on your wedding day and take them off when the day is done.
